Our Beers

The Eiger

The Eiger

Our flagship ale, The Eiger is our interpretation of the classic West Coast style India Pale Ale. Burnt amber in color, The Eiger is robust and full flavored. A strong and complex hop aroma is complemented by a rich maltiness. This is an ale for those who have learned to appreciate distinctive flavor. The Eiger is great by itself, or with food that requires a beer of character.

Brew Facts

ABV:6.9 - 7.1%
IBUs:65
Hops:Warrior, Simcoe, Apollo, & Summit.
Malts:US Pale, Munich, Pilsner, Carmel & Honey.
Rainier

Mount Rainier

Take the wonderful hop character from The Eiger, and paint it black! With that comes an intense yet balanced dark chocolate and roasted coffee flavor while the hop aroma persists overall these big flavors. A brand new style in the American craft brewing scene the CDA or Cascadian Dark Ale, is better described yet more poorly named as a Black IPA. No matter what you call this, its freaking delicious!

Brew Facts

ABV:6.9 - 7.1%
IBUs:60
Hops:Warrior, Cascade, Summit & Columbus.
Malts:US Pale, German Carafa & Carmel.
The Massif

The Massif

Our Bavarian style Hefeweizen spiked with a very interesting ingredient during fermentation, Peaches. What?!? Yea. Peaches. Fresh Texas Peaches are peeled and put directly into the fermenter with the beer. It lends the light and already slightly fruity aspects of the hefeweizen a big slap on the back with some tart and floral flavors to give you a great beverage for a hot Texas day.

Brew Facts

ABV:4.9 - 5.1%
IBUs:13
Hops:Hallertauer Mittlefruh
Malts:Wheat & German Pilsner.
Base Camp Ale

Base Camp Ale

This beer was designed to be a celebration, a treat, a victory after a hard climb. A beer the color of spun coppery gold with a very interesting taste and story. Brewed like a Belgian Strong Blonde ale with a few secrets up its sleeve, this beer is worth the adventure.

Brew Facts

ABV:7.6 - 7.8%
IBUs:35
Hops:Sterling
Malts:Pilsner, Special & Vienna Malt
The Matterhorn

The Matterhorn

Meaning "Meadow Peak" in German, the Matterhorn was given its name because the base sits the beautiful foothills in between Switzerland and Italy. However don't be fooled by its meager start, standing over 14,600 ft the Matterhorn easily earns the second part of its name. We decided to make a beer to honor this mountain both suited for meadows and peaks. A German style Altbier though low in alcohol (easy sipping in a meadow) it has the malty backbone to get you through those cold temps at the top. Prost!

Brew Facts

ABV:5.5 - 5.7%
IBUs:40
Hops:Cascade
Malts:Munich, Pilsner, Carmel and Victory.
The Denali

Denali

When you think of Alaska you think large open lands with cool austere peaks and crisp winter mornings. Well we kept all that in mind while brewing our Denali, an American Pale Ale. Using only American hops lends the perfect bite to the American malt backbone of this crazily drinkable ale.

Brew Facts

ABV:5.3 - 5.5%
IBUs:37
Hops:Cascade and Simcoe
Malts:US Pale Ale & Caramel.
Kilimanjaro

Kilimanjaro

One of our darker ales Kilimanjaro begins its life as an amazingly good brown ale, which would be prefect on its own. But we needed to push it to 11, so we take fresh ground Tanzanian coffee, right from the door step of the mount this beer gets its name and cold steep it in the beer to give it a wonderfully complex addition.

Brew Facts

ABV:5.9 - 6.1%
IBUs:36
Hops:Willamette & Columbus
Malts:UK Pale Ale, Aromatic, Caramel, Belgian Special, Rolled Oats & Chocolate.
Mont Blanc

Mont Blanc

A white beer for our white mountain. This is a Belgian style witte beer with something fun added. Actually two things are added, right before we are done boiling the wort we toss in African Rooibos tea and once the beer has been moved to the fermenters we add fresh vanilla beans. The light fruity nature of the witte plays fantastically with the subtle notes of vanilla, the gentle sweetness and almost nutty undertones of the rooibos.

Brew Facts

ABV:4.8 - 5.0%
IBUs:16
Hops:Hallertauer Mittlefruh
Malts:Wheat, German Pilsner.

Here, there be giants! Beyond this point you are on your own. You should not drink any of the beers below, you should turn back and find safer ground. Proceed at your own risk.

Nordwand

Nordwand

The northwest face of the Eiger coined the Nordwand, towers 5,900 vertical feet above the Bernese overland making it one of the most formidable Alpine faces to climb. So for our Imperial (Double) IPA we took our Eiger an pushed it to the extreme. More IBUs than we can count and a gravity lofty enough to match this beer will leave you reeling. Only for the most expert hop heads, we don't recommend your try this if it's your first time out.

Brew Facts

ABV:9.9 - 10.2%
IBUs:100+
Hops:Warrior, Columbus, Apollo, Citra, Summit & Simcoe
Malts:US Pale, Victory & Caramel.
Everest

Everest

Bow to the Holy Mother. 29,029 feet above you is a the roof of the world. When trying to think of a beer that captured the spirit of the Mother of all peaks we had to remember how Everest has been looked upon as of late. Most think that just because many have come down from her lofty ridges safe and sound that she is wimpier than her other big friends. However they forgot all those still frozen in time somewhere on the mount, so we created a libation to match. This Belgian style triple comes off as easy drinking as a pale ale but after one or two you'll feel the Holy Mothers sting. Make sure your ropes will hold.

Brew Facts

ABV:11.1 - 11.4%
IBUs:30
Hops:Sterling
Malts:German Pilsner & Carmel.
K2

K2

23.24%. That is the death rate on K2. 1/4 of you won't make it back but the rest will have the time of your life! This massive barley wine is everything we thought K2 would embody. It's a malty punch with enough hops to keep you coming back for more. It has notes of sweet carmel and biscuit with an avalanche of American hops bringing up the rear. For those don't make it back, you will be remembered.

Brew Facts

ABV:12.0 - 12.3%
IBUs:100+
Hops:Warrior, Amarillo, Columbus, Chinook & Simcoe
Malts:UK Pale Ale & Caramel.
He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named

He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named

Massive is the only way to describe this beer! We pulled out all the stops for this beer whose name should never be uttered. Over 100 IBUs and over 15% ABV this beer is made to age and enjoy with company, think of it as a more wine like experience. It pours pure black (like the soul of the dark lord) and is a rush of plum, bourbon and roasty coffee goodness. This beer is not for the faint of heart

Brew Facts

ABV:15.8 - 16.0%
IBUs:100+

Malts:UK Pale Ale, Aromatic, Belgian Special, Roasted Barley, Black & Chocolate.
